The Role:
-Identify and acquire development opportunities, financial modeling, progressing the development to planning consent, managing through the construction stages and ensuring the successful completion of the projects
-Oversee the development of mixed-use schemes from conception through completion
-Advise on and gain planning consent for the project
-Lead the property team as the company and portfolio expand
-Advise on a smaller leisure development in mainland Europe
-Appoint external teams on all projects
-Report to and communicate with Board Directors on progress
-Manage and assist the project management team to deliver projects
-Oversee a number of projects within the sector
-Recruit and develop the team within the UK
-You will be responsible for dedicated high profile developments across the UK
-Lead an internal team of professionals and external advisers
-Grow the Hotels division both in terms of clients/projects and team members

What we are looking for:
-A project professional who has led mixed-use developments through planning to completion
-A project manager from either building surveying, quantity surveying, architecture or pure project management background
-An experienced director or associate with previous experience of leading projects within the hotel sector
-Previous experience of managing internal teams
-Previous experience of strategic and multiple project management
-Strong management skills including recruiting internally is preferable

This role will suit an extremely pro-active and enthusiastic Project Manager who is happy to lead rather than be led. They will be given a great deal of scope to develop the role and the property business stream.
